Zareh participated in preparation/review of a federal brief containing:

numerous citation errors;
misrepresented case law;
authorities that did not support the propositions for which they were cited;
a brief that the federal district court determined had been generated using AI.

The federal court admonished the attorneys.

The New York Attorney Grievance Committee then brought reciprocal disciplinary proceedings.

The First Department imposed a public censure.

This is significant because it is an actual state disciplinary proceeding, rather than merely a federal judge imposing Rule 11 sanctions.
